Yuval Dafna, CEO
Yuval has worked in the fields of communications, data science, machine learning and algorithms for over a decade, leading end-to-end project cycles. Prior to joining Stardat, Yuval was a senior Algorithm Researcher/Developer at Fifth Dimension and a System Engineer leader at Intel Corporation. Yuval holds a B.Sc. from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) and an M.Sc. from Tel Aviv University, both in Electrical Engineering.
Maor Ivgi, CTO
Maor has worked in the areas of AI, data science and advanced analytics for his entire career, specializing in algorithm development for production systems leveraging ML tools. Maor led several Computer Vision projects in BrightSource Energy and Fifth Dimension, few of which still play a critical role in the solar energy industry worldwide. Maor holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and his M.Sc. thesis is focused on advanced NLP.
Shani Shalgi, PhD, VP of R&D
Shani has more than 15 years of experience in the fields of software engineering, data analysis, and machine learning algorithm research in various leadership roles. Prior to joining Stardat, Shani was an Algorithm Researcher/Developer at Fifth Dimension and Head of Research at
InnerEye. Shani holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a PhD in Cognitive Science, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
